Man Robbed, Beaten, Shot

A man who was robbed, beaten, shot and thrown into a ditch Sunday evening wasn’t found until Monday morning, police said. A Yellow Cab driver taking her children to school told police that she saw a hand come up in some weeds and found the man in the ditch on Medgar Evers Boulevard. The man was dazed and in pain, but was able to crawl up toward the road where he was able to flag the cab driver down. The man told the cab driver that he had been robbed of his wallet and his car and then beaten and left for dead, police said.
